Bure Valley Railway - A 15 in minimum gauge heritage railway runs from Wroxham to Aylsham. It uses both steam and diesel locomotives.

9.30am - 10.15am ... Zumba classes with Hayley at Winterton Village Hall. Men and women are welcome for all levels of fitness, seated or standing. 8pm ... Beacon lighting event starts on the beach car park with music and exhibits of fishing and military heritage.


9.45pm ... The official lighting of the beacon on the beach car park. More than 2,022 beacons will be lit throughout the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, the UK Overseas Territories, and the Commonwealth countries. Norfolk's Edge will be serving throughout the evening until late.


Friday June 3

Noon ... Start of the Hermanus Family Fun Weekend. Family fun afternoon, face painting, children's Jubilee activities, bouncy castle, play area and outdoor games. Bar open all day. Afternoon tea and children's picnic boxes from noon until 4pm. Basket meals from 4pm until 8.30pm.


5pm - late ... Grooves family disco at the Hermanus.

Sunday June 5

10am - 5pm ... Queens Jubilee party on the village green. Check-in at Pod HQ ready for the start of the party with live music and audience participation - look out for the conga, the hokey-cokey and the like. More live performances at 2pm and then at 3pm it's a singalong of war songs to commemorate D-Day followed by a D-Day presentation. At 4pm it's the draw of the grand raffle, more music and then a mass "last night at the proms" style singalong to end the party.
