A year round parking ban was brought in earlier this month, but was ignored by many who continued to leave their cars on the verge

Chaotic scenes over the Christmas period in 2017 where parked cars blocked the route to the car park and beach prompted the parish council to apply to Norfolk County Council for year round restrictions on the northern side.

There were hopes they would be in place ready for October when the summer restriction would normally be lifted.

But there was a delay in signing them off.
